You run a business, not a government bureaucracy. Yet finding funding on the official EU Tender mechanism requires reading through hundreds of PDF annexes written in dense legal jargon.
EU Fund Portal acts as your automated business development manager. We aggregate grants aimed at the "Green Transition", digitization of traditional manufacturing, and cross-border commercialization into a clean, searchable interface.
- Easily identify grants that reimburse up to 70% of your R&D costs.
- Setup daily digest emails to be sent directly to your financial controller.
- Filter out academic-only grants and focus exclusively on commercial subsidies.
SME Funding FAQs
Does my business count as an SME under EU rules?
The European Commission broadly defines an SME as a business with fewer than 250 employees AND an annual turnover not exceeding €50 million (or a balance sheet total not exceeding €43 million). If you meet this criteria, you fall into a highly privileged funding category with hundreds of dedicated grant programs.
What kind of business activities will the EU fund?
Currently, the vast majority of SME funding is directed towards "twin transitions"—Digital and Green. If you are a manufacturing SME looking to adopt AI or robotics, or if you are investing in energy-efficient processes or circular economy business models, there is very likely a highly relevant grant available for you.
Can I apply for these grants as a single company?
Yes and no. While some schemes like the EIC Accelerator are for mono-beneficiaries (single applicants), many Horizon Europe and Eurostars grants require a consortium (e.g., partnering with an SME in another EU member state). EU Fund Portal allows you to easily filter grants by "Single Applicant" vs "Consortium Required".
